10. Three Kings
Great adventure film with a message. Don't underestimate this film.

9. Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me
Two
words: potty humor. Need I say more? This is an awesome movie and
I feel like I need to move this up the list. From a Christian standpoint,
I shouldn't be watching movies like this, but I do. Forgive me.

8. American Beauty
This
Academy Award winning film ranks low because I like what it had to say, but
it was too dark of a film for me. Movies like this always win for best picture
and I'm kind of tired of it. What's wrong with popular film.

7. The War Zone
This
is a tragic story of a boy, who discovers a horrible secret about his family. It's
a power story that will stay with you for a long time. This movis is not for
kids and I'm starting to think that 1999 is just not a family year for movies.

6. Cider House Rules
Based
on a John Irving novel, this is a marvelous tale on the theme of abortion. It's
definitely a anti-life movie, but it paints a fair picture of the Pro-life
arguments. Even though it's conclusions are wrong.

5. Sixth Sense
One thing you need to do to prepare yourself for this movie. Simply,
understand that it's a supernatural movie trying to disguise itself as a horror
movie. My wife didn't do that and I have bruise marks on my arm to prove
it. This is one of those movies where the ending made it a great
film. I'll just leave it at that. Click here to purchase on DVD.
4. Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
This is one of those you-love-it-or-you-don't. I loved this
movie and still think that it was honorable to the series. Jar Jar was
annoying but I think Watto was the better new character. Little Jake Lloyd
was wonderful as little Anakin. The
pod race scene is one of the best action scene in movies today. I was sad
to see Liam Neeson die. Click

3. Tarzan
It's no secret that I'm a Disney fan, but Tarzan is a wonderful film.
For the child of the 80's, Phil Collins has written some great songs, one of
which showed up in my wedding just two days after the movie opened.

2. Matrix
Now we've all scene the Matrix. How can you not love this movie?
The Matrix makes violence beautiful. It brings to life the best of
Japanese Anime and the concepts behind the movie is ingenious. Not for
kids, but great for adults.

1. Toy Story 2
In my opinion, Toy Story should have been nominated for the Academy Award for
Best Picture. It had won the Golden Globe. Who would have ever
thought that the sequel would ever surpass the original but it does by pulling
at the heartstrings of any person who has ever owned a toy. I'm currently
thinking of a box of stuffed animals that my family donated to charity and the
fact that I'll never see my Snoopy ever again.
