This gallery is just a chance to show off some of my favorite pictures.

I like this shot because I've always been interested in ways of taking low light pictures. This one is easy. 400 speed film, camera on a tripod and using a ten-second timer. It was taken during VBS at my church (Evangelical Free Church of Yorba Linda). I love this week and I love kids.

This picture was taken during Beach Night 1997 for my college group. It was maybe 15 minutes after sundown and the day was slightly overcast. The exposures were about 2 seconds long. I found that I had a tendency to shake the camera (even on a tripod) when I pulled the trigger. I searched hours before going to the beach to see if there was a trigger cable for the Nikon N-50. There wasn't…so I was scrambling to figure out how to pull the shot off. The answer was so simple, I used the camera's timer to fire the camera. As you can see it worked beautifully. I took about 12 shots, some had people walking through the picture.

This one was taken on my annual trek to Monterey. I was visiting the sea aquarium and on the way from the parking lot, I passed this lot. I really loved the patters that the pylons and fence made.

As you can guess, taken during the Fourth of July. I took 75 pictures during the entire show. I think this was the best shot of them all.

This series is of my roommate Drew and his sister Ginny. Ginny was staying at a really nice hotel in Huntington Beach. Drew and I went to visit and I took the opportunity to take some really nice pictures. In fact the first two pictures I enlarged and gave them for Christmas and their birthdays.

San Francisco

These photos were taken on a seminar I attended in San Francisco. The ceiling shot was taken at Norstroms. I climbed all 12 stories and got this beauty. The Chinatown shots were taken near my grandparent's home.

Las Vegas

These Vegas shots were taken at Ceaser's Empire (except the Bally's picture). This was a great place. I love the vibrant colors. I used Kodak Gold MAX. I love this film.
